Mike Dunlap

One of Legacy’s original founders in 1994, Mike Dunlap also served for several terms and as its President for a number of years. Mike is a retired CPA with extensive experience with planned giving, estate giving, and financial planning. He and his wife, Nancy, founded Dunlap and Dunlap CPAs which concluded its thirty-plus years of serving clients in the North County region in 2010. When scaling back his CPA practice, Mike ramped up focus on their Escondido Sunrise Vineyard, a producer of delicious Merlot and Zinfandel wines. When not in the vineyard overseeing the grapes or coordinating the annual crush, Mike can be found serving with his longtime Escondido Rotary Club members, cruising with Nancy on the high seas, or managing Cabin by the Lake, a nonprofit he founded which is dedicated towards building ADA compliant cabins locally and regionally.

Rachel Mason, M.S., M.A.

Rachel's professional philosophy is to honor and promote Legacy’s mission of serving the community by employing exceptional public relations skills, having a holistic understanding of the public benefit/nonprofit industry, and utilizing a team-oriented management approach. Within the public benefit nonprofit industry, Rachel has served as a member of a fund development team, an Executive Director, and as a third-party party consultant. These experiences have provided her with a broad knowledge of public benefit profit after which allows her to collaborate with large and small organizations to create an exclusive network focused on working toward similar goals.

Roy Moosa

Beyond his interest in real estate as the owner and broker of Sun Realty since 1995, Roy keeps busy volunteering a number of wonderful organizations such as the Fallbrook Historical Society and the Fallbrook Village Association. It’s easy to notice that Fallbrook’s name precedes so many of these as he’s a deeply committed, forward-thinking civic leader who sees the area continuously evolving. Roy has a balanced view of Fallbrook’s history, its current economic influences, and what the township and surrounding area could become in the near future. His macro view of how to create positive change while still honoring the area’s history came in 2017 when he was heavily involved in bringing the train caboose to downtown Fallbrook, and in 2018 when he purchased and began renovations to the 1948 Mission Theater which is now a wonderful place for movies as well as public and private events.

Matthew Obermueller

Owner/operator of Seniors Helping Seniors in-home care services of North Inland San Diego County, Matt came to the elder care business with a deep understanding of senior needs after helping his father through health issues. This experience gave great insight into providing dignity and respect around elder care. He is no stranger to the senior community having previously pursued a passion for helping this demographic ten years prior, helping manage Medicare insurance needs. He believes senior care work now fills multiple needs and provides an opportunity for active seniors to provide noble assistance to others. A proud father to three wonderful children, Kennedy, Hawkins and Heston, he enjoys camping with them as well as sporting events, and traveling the country and world. Matt belongs to the North Coast Church where he has served as a volunteer since 2015. Giving back, supporting others, and community involvement are core values he believes can be delivered, communicated, and acknowledged through Legacy Endowment’s mission.

A fulltime Fallbrook resident who still takes on consulting projects for certain companies from time to time, Howard now enjoys focusing time on his civic leadership, which is certainly to the benefit of our north county nonprofit and community service organizations.

She enjoys a variety of interests including volunteering for nonprofits that inspire her attention for their scope of programs and outcome of services. However, one of her most favorite pastimes is enjoying time with her family and grandchildren.
